Our hybrid working practice combines core office hours with work from anywhere days. This creates clarity and structure for the team via our day-to-day operating model, and the freedom to support their priorities outside of their job with Marra. We passionately believe in creating the right environment for collaboration, communication, and connection.

With a broad range of experience in full-stack web and mobile development gained through over a decade of varied software consultancy work, Ryan guides our technical approach on all aspects of initial project discovery, development and delivery

Gary is the founder and chair of Scott Logic and a former Executive Director at Lehman Brothers.

As COO, Jo’s responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day experience of working for and with Marra matches the high standards we set for ourselves.
Jo will embed the Marra culture and build the community throughout everything that Marra represents. With almost 30 years in the tech sector under her belt, Jo is committed to and excited by the opportunity to do things differently.

Headquartered in Tyne and Wear, a region with a rich history in innovation and a home for technological revolution, Marra, is a slang word for a mate or friend. It is a much-loved word, used in northern England and gained popularity when it was adopted by the ex-coal mining communities.
We have a strong relationship with Scott Logic, a large software consultancy who are our sister company. They are our reciprocal collaborators, critical friends and mentors. Definitely more than just our Marra!
